How it works

1. Activate Kaya's second loyalty ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, causing you to double any tokens you create this turn.
2. Cast Ancestral Statue by paying 4
3. Oltec Matterweaver triggers, creating two 1/1 Gnome artifact creature tokens.
4. When Ancestral Statue enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Gnomes, adding CCCC.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop turns a mechanical quirk into an infinite engine, supercharged by Kaya, Geist Hunter's −2 ability to double every token you create. When you cast Ancestral Statue, Oltec Matterweaver triggers to flood the board with Gnome artifact tokens instead of just one, neatly offsetting the Statue's self-bouncing drawback. You can then feed those newly doubled tokens directly into Ashnod's Altar to generate more than enough mana to recast the Ancestral Statue, keeping the cycle spinning indefinitely.
