How it works

1. Cast Ancestral Statue by paying 4.
2. Kozilek's Unsealing's first ability triggers, creating two 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature tokens.
3. When Ancestral Statue enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the Eldrazi Spawns, adding CCCC.
5. Repeat.

This engine turns the self-bouncing nature of Ancestral Statue into an infinite recursion loop, fueled entirely by Ashnod's Altar converting the generated tokens into the exact mana needed to recast the Statue. The real engine driver here is Kozilek's Unsealing, which sits quietly on the board and translates each casting of the Statue into a steady stream of Eldrazi Spawn tokens. Because Ancestral Statue costs 4 mana to cast and the two sacrificed Spawns net you 4 colorless mana via Ashnod's Altar, the loop is completely mana-neutral, letting you recast the Statue endlessly to run up your storm count and trigger any number of enter-the-battlefield and death effects.
