How it works

1. Cast Ancestral Statue by paying 4
2. Oltec Matterweaver triggers, creating two 1/1 Gnome artifact creature tokens.
3. When Ancestral Statue enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing the Gnomes, adding CCCC.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Ancestral Statue into a self-contained engine by exploiting its own entry trigger: every time you cast it, Oltec Matterweaver steps in to generate a pair of Gnome artifact creature tokens, a process dramatically supercharged by Doubling Season to yield four Gnomes instead. Those newly minted artifacts are immediately fed to Krark-Clan Ironworks, converting them into the exact colorless mana needed to recast the Statue, while the Statue's own entry trigger ensures it bounces right back to your hand to start the cycle anew. Because the mana generated outpaces the cost to cast the Statue, you can repeat this cascade indefinitely to flood the board with triggers and storm count.
