How it works

1. Declare any creature with power 5 or greater that cannot be blocked and killed by an opponent as an attacker.
2. Shriekwood Devourer triggers, and Najeela triggers if a Warrior attacked.
3. Resolve the Najeela trigger, if applicable, creating a 1/1 Warrior creature token that is tapped and attacking.
4. Holding priority, activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least .
5. Resolve the Shriekwood Devourer trigger, untapping at least five lands.
6. Activate Najeela by paying , untapping all attacking creatures, giving them trample, lifelink and haste, and gaining an additional combat phase after this one.
7. Repeat each combat phase.

This pairing creates an infinite loop of combat and mana by turning your attackers' raw power into a self-sustaining engine. As you swing with a creature whose power is 5 or greater, Shriekwood Devourer triggers to untap your lands—repaying the mana you spend—while Najeela, the Blade-Blossom grows your army with attacking Warrior tokens and provides the WUBRG activation to untap your attackers and grant another combat phase. Because Shriekwood Devourer scales its untap effect based on that greatest power, your lands feed right back into Najeela, the Blade-Blossom's ability to keep the extra combats rolling indefinitely.
