How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Yosei.
2. When Yosei dies, it and Gift of Immortality trigger.
3. Resolve the Yosei trigger, causing the next player in turn order to skip their next untap step.
4. Resolve the Gift of Immortality trigger, returning Yosei from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
6. At the beginning of the end step, Gift of Immortality triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Yosei.
7. Repeat during each turn unless you are the next player in turn order.

This elegant loop locks down your opponents entirely by weaponizing the recursion of Yosei, the Morning Star. By enchanting Yosei with Gift of Immortality, you ensure that whenever Bloodflow Connoisseur sacrifices the dragon for a quick +1/+1 counter, Yosei's death trigger forces the targeted player to skip their untap step and taps down five of their permanents. Because Gift of Immortality returns itself to the battlefield attached to Yosei at the next end step—ready to repeat the cycle on demand—your opponents are left permanently frozen, unable to untap or defend themselves while you control the board.
