How it works
Activate Megatog by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Hero.
When Optimus Prime, Hero dies, its second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
Activate Megatog by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
When Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader dies, Luminous Broodmoth triggers, returning Optimus Prime from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Hero with a flying counter on it.
Resolve both Megatog abilities from steps 1 and 3, giving it +6/+6 until end of turn.
Repeat.
This clever machinery operates on a continuous cycle of destruction and rebirth, powered by the recursive engine of Luminous Broodmoth. Because Optimus Prime, Hero naturally returns converted upon dying, sacrificing it to Megatog sends it to the graveyard only to reappear as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. Then, when that front face is sacrificed to Megatog, Luminous Broodmoth steps in to resurrect it back to its original form—now gifted with a flying counter so the Broodmoth's watchful eye can catch it next time. Each iteration of this loop feeds Megatog's ravenous appetite, compounding its power while generating an endless storm of sacrifice and entry triggers.
