How it works

1. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing Optimus Prime, Hero.
2. When Optimus Prime, Hero dies, its second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
3. When Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
4. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
5. When Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader dies, Luminous Broodmoth triggers, returning Optimus Prime from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Hero with a flying counter on it.
6. When Optimus Prime, Hero enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
7. Resolve both Grinding Station abilities from steps 1 and 4, causing target player to mill six cards.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant transformation and rebirth of Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader to endlessly fuel Grinding Station. By sacrificing Optimus Prime in its front face, its own death trigger returns it transformed into Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader; sacrificing that back face then lets Luminous Broodmoth catch it and bring it back as the front face once more. Thanks to Grinding Station's passive ability, every single time Optimus Prime enters the battlefield in either form, the artifact untaps itself to keep the mill engine turning forever.
