How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Hero.
2. When Optimus Prime, Hero dies, its second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
3. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
4. When Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader dies, Luminous Broodmoth triggers, returning Optimus Prime from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Hero with a flying counter on it.
5. Resolve both Umbral Collar Zealot abilities from steps 1 and 3
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop leverages the constant back-and-forth transformation of Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader to fuel infinite sacrifices alongside Luminous Broodmoth and Umbral Collar Zealot. Because Optimus Prime's front face automatically returns itself to the battlefield when it dies, and its back face lacks flying, Luminous Broodmoth catches it upon its subsequent death to return it with a flying counter—resetting the cycle right back to its front side. Meanwhile, Umbral Collar Zealot acts as the essential outlet to continuously send Optimus Prime to the graveyard while letting you surveil through your entire deck.
