How it works
Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing another nontoken creature that doesn't have flying.
When the creature dies, Luminous Broodmoth triggers, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a flying counter on it.
Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the creature with a flying counter on it.
When the creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
Resolve the Phantom Train abilities from step 1 and 3.
Repeat.
This loop turns Phantom Train into a relentless sacrifice engine by exploiting overlapping resurrection triggers. Whenever you feed a grounded creature to Phantom Train, Luminous Broodmoth catches it on the way out and brings it back with a flying counter, which then strips away the Broodmoth's protection and sets up the creature's own persist ability granted by Isilu, Carrier of Twilight (the back face of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn). When that persist trigger resolves, it returns the creature with a -1/-1 counter, and because the flying counter is gone, Luminous Broodmoth is ready to catch it all over again. By alternating between these two recursive safety nets, you can endlessly recycle your board to rack up infinite sacrifice triggers, enter-the-battlefield effects, and massive +1/+1 counters on Phantom Train.
