How it works

  1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the undying creature, adding R mana.
  2. When the creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. Activate Hexavus' second ability by paying 1 and removing the +1/+1 counter from the undying creature, putting a +1/+1 counter on Hexavus.
  4. Repeat.
