How it works
- Activate Urza by paying 6, creating a token copy of Magic Pot that is a 1/1 Soldier and a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the Magic Pot token and the Squirrel, adding CCCC.
- When the Magic Pot token dies, it triggers, creating a Treasure token and a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Squirrel, adding CC.
- Repeat.
This clever engine turns Urza, Prince of Kroog's expensive replication ability into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging Magic Pot as both the target and the fuel. When you pay to copy Magic Pot, Quina, Qu Gourmet steps in to multiply the token production, ensuring you get extra creature bodies alongside the copy. From there, Ashnod's Altar provides the sacrifice outlet to generate the necessary mana while triggering Magic Pot's death ability to spawn even more artifacts and tokens.
