How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Gravecrawler, adding CC.
2. When Gravecrawler dies, Bhaal triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Crystalline Crawler.
3. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
4. Cast Gravecrawler from your graveyard by paying .
5. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns the unassuming synergy between Gravecrawler and Ashnod's Altar into a self-sustaining engine fueled by Bhaal, Lord of Murder and Crystalline Crawler. While Ashnod's Altar provides the initial sacrifice outlet for colorless mana, Crystalline Crawler steps in as a clever battery, converting the +1/+1 counters granted by Bhaal's death trigger into the exact black mana needed to recast Gravecrawler from the graveyard. Because Gravecrawler continuously feeds the altar while Crystalline Crawler grows and pays for the recursion, you generate infinite colorless mana alongside an endless storm count and death triggers.
