How it works

1. Activate Salvaging Station by tapping it, returning Consulate Dreadnought from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. When Consulate Dreadnought enters, Kolodin triggers, causing Consulate Dreadnought to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Consulate Dreadnought.
4. When Consulate Dreadnought dies, Salvaging Station triggers, untapping Salvaging Station.
5. Repeat.

This recursive engine spins into motion thanks to Kolodin, Triumph Caster, whose static ability ensures that any arriving Vehicle instantly answers its own mechanical needs by turning into an artifact creature the moment it hits the board. That vital transformation allows the freshly manifested Consulate Dreadnought to be fed directly into Ashnod's Altar, generating a steady stream of colorless mana while sending the Vehicle straight to the graveyard. From there, Salvaging Station steps in to pluck the Dreadnought back to the battlefield, and because that same sacrifice inherently triggers the Station's untap ability, you are left with an infinitely repeating loop.
