How it works
- Activate Chrome Dome by paying 2 at most due to Agatha, creating a token copy of another artifact creature you control with haste.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the artifact token, adding CC.
- Repeat.
This loop is all about breaking Chrome Dome's copy ability by leaning heavily on Agatha of the Vile Cauldron, whose static ability reduces the activation cost of creature abilities based on her power. With that cost reduction in play, Ashnod's Altar steps in to fund the process by converting the newly created tokens into a steady stream of colorless mana. Because Chrome Dome itself is an artifact creature—and can even be partially buffed by its own passive boost—you can continuously sacrifice and recreate your board state to generate infinite colorless mana alongside an endless army of hasty artifact and creature tokens.
