How it works

1. Activate Chivalric Alliance by paying 2 and discarding a card, creating a 2/2 Knight creature token.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Knight, adding CC.
3. When the Knight dies, Weatherlight Compleated triggers, putting a phyresis counter on it and causing you to draw a card.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Ashnod's Altar as the engine to fund Chivalric Alliance's ability, letting you continuously trade mana and discarded cards for fresh Knight tokens. Every time a Knight is sacrificed to the Altar, Weatherlight Compleated steps in to capitalize on the carnage by steadily stacking up phyresis counters and feeding you a steady stream of card draw. Because Chivalric Alliance's activated ability handles the card-discard requirement on its own, this engine is completely self-contained and allows you to cycle through your entire deck at will.
