When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
Cast the creature from the top of your library by paying X life, where X is the creature's mana value.
Aetherflux Reservoir triggers, causing you to gain 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
Repeat.
This elegant loop turns the top of your library into an endless engine of life and mana. By using Bolas's Citadel to cast a creature straight from the top of your library for a life payment instead of its mana cost, you effortlessly fuel Aetherflux Reservoir's storm count to pad your life total. That same creature is then sacrificed to Ashnod's Altar to generate colorless mana, which conveniently helps offset any other costs while Mortuary immediately catches the fallen creature and places it right back on top of your library to repeat the process.
