How it works

1. Cast Su-Chi Cave Guard by paying 8.
2. Holding priority, activate Drafna's second ability by paying 3 and tapping it, copying the Su-Chi Cave Guard spell.
3. Resolve the copy of the Su-Chi Cave Guard spell.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Su-Chi Cave Guard token, adding CC.
5. When the token Su-Chi Cave Guard dies, it and Drafna trigger.
6. Resolve the Su-Chi Cave Guard trigger, adding eight C.
7. Resolve the Drafna trigger, untapping it.
8. Repeat from step 2.
