How it works
- Activate Deceiver Exarch using the Licid's ability by paying its activation cost, attaching Deceiver Exarch to Yenna and causing Deceiver Exarch to become an Aura.
- Activate Yenna by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Deceiver Exarch.
- When the Deceiver Exarch token enters, it triggers, untapping Yenna.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Deceiver Exarch token, adding CC.
- Repeat from step 2.
This intricate loop turns Yenna, Redtooth Regent into an endless cloning engine by treating creatures as enchantments, thanks to the rules interactions of an unnamed Licid granting its text to Deceiver Exarch. Once Deceiver Exarch is transformed into an Aura attached to Yenna, Yenna's tap ability can replicate it without the legendary restriction, and the resulting token's entrance triggers its own ability to untap Yenna. Ashnod's Altar then feeds this cycle by turning each sacrificed token copy into the raw mana needed to pay for Yenna's next activation. Meanwhile, Agatha's Soul Cauldron quietly hums in the background, anchoring the engine by ensuring you have access to any necessary creature abilities and pumping up your board as cards are exiled from graveyards.
