How it works

1. Cast Deranged Hermit by paying 3.
2. When Deranged Hermit enters the battlefield, it and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
3. Resolve the Deranged Hermit trigger, creating four 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens.
4. When the Squirrels enter the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers four times.
5. Resolve the first trigger, returning Deranged Hermit to your hand from the battlefield.
6. Resolve all remaining triggers, choosing not to return anything to your hand.
7. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing two Squirrels, adding .
8. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing two Squirrels, adding CCCC.
9. Repeat.
