How it works

1. Activate Kaya's second loyalty ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, causing you to double any tokens you create this turn.
2. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
3. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Quintorius triggers, creating two creature tokens.
5. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
6. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
7. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This intricate loop turns Survey Mechan into a self-sustaining engine by abusing its ability to return from the grave. When you sacrifice Survey Mechan to its own hefty activation cost, Mortuary immediately catches it on its way to the graveyard and places it right back on top of your library, while Quintorius, Field Historian spots the card leaving the graveyard and spawns a Spirit. Kaya, Geist Hunter’s previous minus ability doubles that token generation into a pair of Spirits, which you can promptly feed to Ashnod's Altar to generate the mana needed to recast Survey Mechan and do it all over again.
