How it works

1. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
2. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Quintorius triggers, creating two creature tokens.
4. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
6. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop puts Survey Mechan right back on top of your library via Mortuary the moment it hits the graveyard, allowing you to continually recast it using the mana generated from Ashnod's Altar. Quintorius, Field Historian provides the fodder by churning out Spirit tokens whenever Survey Mechan leaves the graveyard, a production stream that is doubled straight out of the gate thanks to Mondrak, Glory Dominus's relentless token multiplication. Because Mondrak and Quintorius also buff and multiply your board, you easily generate a surplus of mana to recast the Mechan and cycle through your entire deck for infinite damage, card draw, and life.
