How it works

1. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
2. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Quintorius triggers, creating two creature tokens.
4. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
6. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
7. Repeat.

This delightfully intricate loop transforms Survey Mechan into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Mortuary to gently place the mechan back on top of your library the moment it meets its demise. As it heads to the graveyard, Quintorius, Field Historian spots cards leaving the graveyard and eagerly conjures Spirit tokens, which Exalted Sunborn eagerly doubles into a quartet of reinforcements. You can then sacrifice those freshly minted tokens to Ashnod's Altar to generate the mana needed to replay Survey Mechan from your hand, letting you repeat the cycle for near-infinite damage, card draw, and lifegain.
