How it works

1. Activate a basic Forest and Plains by tapping them, adding .
2. Activate Earthcraft twice by tapping Lurrus and Saffi, untapping the basic Forest and Plains.
3. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Lurrus.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Lurrus, adding CC.
5. When Lurrus dies, Saffi triggers, returning Lurrus from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Cast Saffi from your graveyard by paying .
7. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recursive value, turning two tiny sacrifice outlets into an endless engine fueled by Earthcraft and Saffi Eriksdotter. By using Earthcraft to tap Saffi Eriksdotter and Lurrus of the Dream-Den for mana, you clear the way to feed both creatures into Ashnod's Altar for a steady stream of colorless mana. Because Saffi Eriksdotter stands ready to resurrect Lurrus of the Dream-Den upon death, and Lurrus of the Dream-Den can then immediately recast Saffi Eriksdotter from the graveyard thanks to its own passive recursion ability, the loop feeds seamlessly back into itself.
