How it works

  1. Gain any amount of life.

  3. When the Fungus Beast enters the battlefield, Distinguished Conjurer triggers.
  4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Fungus Beast, adding CC.
  5. Resolve the Distinguished Conjurer trigger, causing you to gain life.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
