How it works

  1. Cause a token to enter the battlefield under your control.
  2. Kambal's second ability triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
  3. Trudge Garden triggers, causing you to pay 2 to create a 4/4 Fungus Beast creature token.
  4. Kambal's second ability triggers, holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Fungus Beast, adding CC.
  5. Resolve the Kambal trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
  6. Repeat from step 3.
