How it works

  1. Gain any amount of life.

  3. When the Fungus Beast enters the battlefield, Guide of Souls triggers.
  4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Fungus Beast, adding CC.
  5. Resolve the Guide of Souls trigger, causing you to gain life and get E.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
