How it works

1. Cast The Peregrine Dynamo by paying 3.
2. When The Peregrine Dynamo enters the battlefield, Cadric triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate The Peregrine Dynamo by paying 1 and tapping it, copying Cadric's trigger.
4. Resolve the copy of Cadric's trigger, causing you to pay 1 to create a nonlegendary token copy of The Peregrine Dynamo.
5. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the tapped Peregrine Dynamo, adding CC.
6. Activate the Peregrine Dynamo token by paying 1 and tapping it, copying Cadric's trigger.
7. Repeat from step 4.
