How it works

1. Sacrifice Dross Scorpion to Ashnod's Altar, generating two generic mana.
2. Imprint Mimic Vat with Dross Scorpion.
3. Activate Mimic Vat, creating a token copy of Dross Scorpion.
4. Sacrifice Dross Scorpion to Ashnod's Altar, targeting Mimic Vat and the mana rock with Dross Scorpion's two death triggers (second from Teysa).

This clever loop uses Ashnod's Altar as the engine to continuously sacrifice a copy of Dross Scorpion generated by Mimic Vat. Whenever the Scorpion hits the altar, its death triggers target the Mimic Vat itself so it can be repeatedly untrapped alongside another artifact. The presence of Teysa Karlov doubles these artifact-untapping triggers, allowing you to easily maintain the loop and generate boundless sacrifices and enter-the-battlefield triggers.
