How it works
- Draw a card.
- Lyla triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
- Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Servo, adding CC.
- When the Servo dies, Smothering Abomination triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop is propelled by the synergy between Lyla, Holographic Assistant and Animation Module: whenever you draw a card, Lyla places a +1/+1 counter on a creature, which in turn trips the Module's ability to manufacture a Servo artifact creature token for the low cost of {1}. You can immediately feed that newly minted Servo to Ashnod's Altar to generate {C}{C}, leaving you with more than enough mana to pay for the Module's trigger while netting a surplus. Best of all, sacrificing the Servo causes Smothering Abomination to trigger, drawing you a card that immediately restarts the entire cycle with Lyla, Holographic Assistant.
