How it works

1. Cast Rograkh either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 0 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. Rograkh enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Grumgully.
3. Activate Together Forever by paying 1, targeting Rograkh.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Rograkh, adding CC.
5. When Rograkh dies, Together Forever triggers, returning Rograkh to your hand from your graveyard.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh's zero-mana casting cost to make its infinite mana engine remarkably cheap to get off the ground. When you recast Rograkh, Grumgully, the Generous ensures it enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter already attached, bypassing the need for manual setup. You then use Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice Rograkh for two colorless mana, leaving you plenty of profit after paying Together Forever's activation cost to catch Rograkh and return it straight back to your hand.
