How it works

  1. Activate Together Forever by paying 1, targeting Zabaz.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Zabaz, adding CC.
  3. Zabaz dies, triggering its modular ability and Together Forever.
  4. Resolve the Zabaz trigger, moving its +1/+1 counters onto another artifact creature.
  5. Resolve the Together Forever trigger, returning Zabaz from your graveyard to your hand.
  6. Cast Zabaz by paying 1, which enters with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Repeat.
