How it works

1. Activate Relic of Legends by tapping your commander, adding .
2. Your commander triggers, giving it +2/+0 and undying until end of turn.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing your commander, adding CC.
4. When your commander dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Activate Fain's second ability by tapping it and removing the +1/+1 counter from your commander, creating a Treasure artifact token.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
7. Activate Fain's fourth ability by paying 3, untapping it.
8. Repeat.
