How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cult Conscript, adding CC.
  2. When Cult Conscript dies, Blood Artist triggers, causing an opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain one life.
  3. Activate Cult Conscript by paying 1B mana, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard.
  4. When Cult Conscript enters the battlefield, Carnival of Souls triggers, causing you to lose 1 life and add B mana.
  5. Repeat.
