How it works

1. Activate Slimefoot by paying 4, creating two 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing both Saproling tokens, adding CCCC.
3. Slimefoot triggers twice, dealing 2 damage to each opponent and causing you to gain two life.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Slimefoot, the Stowaway into an absolute engine by using Parallel Lives to double your token production, ensuring that every activation yields two Saprolings instead of one. You can then feed both of those newly created tokens directly into Ashnod's Altar, generating four colorless mana—more than enough to pay for Slimefoot's ability again with mana to spare. As those Saprolings head to the graveyard, Slimefoot's drain-and-gain trigger fires off repeatedly, letting you whittle down your opponents' life totals to zero while padding your own life total in the process.
