How it works

  1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 3, blinking Avenger of Zendikar.
  2. When Avenger of Zendikar enters the battlefield, it triggers itself and Emiel the Blessed.
  3. Resolve Emiel the Blessed's ability, choosing not to pay for it.
  4. Resolve Avenger of Zendikar's ability, creating at least two 0/1 Plant creature tokens.
  5. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Emiel the Blessed triggers once for each token; choose not to pay for its ability.
  6. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing two Plant tokens, adding 4.
  7. Repeat any number of times.
  8. Once you have infinite colorless mana, you may activate Emiel the Blessed any number of times.
