How it works

1. Cast Soul Collector by paying 3.
2. When Soul Collector enters the battlefield, Pandemonium triggers, causing Soul Collector to deal damage to itself equal to its power.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Soul Collector, adding CC.
4. When Soul Collector dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the ability from step 3.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on Pandemonium to turn Soul Collector's own power against it, dealing the lethal damage needed to trigger its delayed resurrection ability. By using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice Soul Collector in response to that self-inflicted damage, you turn the creature into a source of infinite colorless mana while setting up its return. Every iteration lets Soul Collector re-enter the battlefield to restart the carnage, feeding your death and entry triggers indefinitely.
