How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Ministrant of Obligation, adding CC.
2. When Ministrant of Obligation dies, its afterlife ability triggers, creating two 1/1 Spirit creature tokens.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the Spirits, adding CCCC.
4. Activate Crossroads Candleguide by paying 2, adding .
5. Activate Kenrith's fifth ability by paying 4, returning Ministrant of Obligation to the battlefield from your graveyard.
6. Repeat.

This loop begins by feeding Ministrant of Obligation to Ashnod's Altar, generating two colorless mana and triggering the afterlife ability that leaves behind a pair of 1/1 Spirit tokens. Those tokens are immediately sacrificed to the Altar as well, bolstering your mana pool to fund Crossroads Candleguide's mana ability and help pay the activation cost for Kenrith, the Returned King. With the necessary mana gathered, Kenrith's recursion ability pulls Ministrant of Obligation right back out of the graveyard to the battlefield, setting the stage to loop the entire sequence infinitely.
