How it works

1. Cast Mystic Speculation with buyback by paying 2.
2. Shark Typhoon and Storm-Kiln Artist trigger.
3. Resolve the Shark Typhoon trigger, creating a 1/1 Shark creature token.
4. Resolve the Storm-Kiln Artist trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve Mystic Speculation, causing you to scry 3 and return it to your hand.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Shark, adding CC.
8. Repeat.

This loop lets you infinitely sculpt your library while churning out a massive army of flying Sharks and endless mana. By casting Mystic Speculation with its buyback cost, you trigger Storm-Kiln Artist to generate a Treasure token and Shark Typhoon to produce an X/X Shark token—which Ashnod's Altar then eagerly converts into two generic mana. Combined with the mana from the sacrificed Treasure, you effortlessly fund the next iteration of Mystic Speculation's buyback while your magecraft and sacrifice triggers spiral out of control.
