How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Charforger, adding CC.
  2. Charforger dies, triggering Nim Deathmantle, causing you to pay 4 to return Charforger from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. Charforger enters the battlefield, creating a 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin creature token.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Phyrexian Goblin, adding CC.
  5. Repeat.
