How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Wormfang Manta, adding CC.
2. When Wormfang Manta dies, its second ability triggers, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Cast Wormfang Manta by paying 5.
4. Wormfang Manta's first ability does not trigger when it enters the battlefield due to Tocatli Honor Guard.
5. Repeat each turn.

This ingenious loop turns Wormfang Manta's built-in drawback into an endless sequence of extra turns by entirely bypassing its downside with Tocatli Honor Guard, which shuts off the dreaded "skip your next turn" trigger when the Manta enters the battlefield. Muldrotha, the Gravetide then allows you to repeatedly cast the Manta directly from your graveyard turn after turn, funding the casting cost each time by sacrificing the creature to Ashnod's Altar for mana. Because the Manta leaves the battlefield and goes to the graveyard, its delayed-triggering leaves you with a mountain of infinite turns while locking down the opponent.
