How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Elas il-Kor's first ability triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. When the creature tokens die, Elas il-Kor's second ability triggers, causing each opponent to lose 2 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mite Overseer's Phyrexian Mite activation into a self-sustaining engine by relying on Chatterfang, Squirrel General's replacement effect to double every token creation into both a Mite and a Squirrel. With Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim tracking these creatures as they enter and leave, every cycle yields a net gain in life while bleeding your opponents dry. Finally, sacrificing the resulting horde to Ashnod's Altar generates more than enough colorless mana to pay for the Overseer's ability again, letting you repeat the entire process indefinitely.
