How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Heliod, adding CC.
2. When Heliod dies, Pitiless Plunderer and Angelic Renewal trigger.
3. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Resolve the Angelic Renewal trigger, causing you to sacrifice it and return Heliod from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. When Heliod enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Angelic Renewal from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Angelic Renewal by paying 1.
8. Repeat.
