How it works

1. Activate Yenna by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Angelic Renewal.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Yenna, adding CC.
3. When Yenna dies, both Angelic Renewals trigger.
4. Resolve the first trigger, choosing to sacrifice either Angelic Renewal and return Yenna from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the second trigger, choosing not to pay.
6. Repeat.

This charming loop sets up an infinite cycle of sacrifice and rebirth by using Yenna, Redtooth Regent to constantly replicate Angelic Renewal, which then saves Yenna from the jaws of Ashnod's Altar every time she is sacrificed for mana. While Fires of Yavimaya doesn't directly fuel the loop's steps, its presence grants haste to your creatures so you can immediately leverage any additional pieces you might have alongside this engine. Because Yenna's token copies safely bypass the legendary rule, you can endlessly generate fresh Angelic Renewals to trigger this recursive resurrection engine as many times as you desire.
