How it works

1. Cast Tormod's Crypt by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Tormod's Crypt from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a recycling chain fueled by the sacrifice outlet Ashnod's Altar, which provides the colorless mana needed to recast Tormod's Crypt. Every time you cast that historic artifact, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle triggers to rescue Scrap Trawler from your graveyard and return it to the battlefield. Once Tormod's Crypt and Scrap Trawler are sacrificed to the Altar, the Trawler's death trigger dips into your graveyard to hand Tormod's Crypt back to you, setting the stage to loop the entire sequence indefinitely.
