How it works

  1. Activate Antler Skulkin by paying 2, giving Elenda persist until end of turn.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Elenda, adding CC.
  3. Elenda dies, triggering its second ability and its persist ability.
  4. Resolve Elenda's persist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  5. Resolve the second Elenda trigger, creating a number of 1/1 Vampire creature tokens equal to Elenda's power.
  6. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Vampire token, adding CC.
  7. The Vampire dies, triggering Elenda's first ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  8. Repeat.
