How it works

1. Activate Helm of Kaldra by paying 1, creating a legendary 4/4 Kaldra token and attaching Helm of Kaldra, Shield of Kaldra, and Sword of Kaldra to it.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kaldra, adding CC.
3. Repeat.

This ingenious assembly transforms the legendary armor set into an endless mana engine by exploiting the interaction between the Avatar's birth and its brutal sacrifice. Once you have assembled the trio of artifacts, Helm of Kaldra’s ability can be activated for just one mana to forge the legendary 4/4 Kaldra token, instantly gathering Shield of Kaldra and Sword of Kaldra onto the new creature as it enters the battlefield. You then feed this newly minted Avatar directly into Ashnod's Altar, sacrificing it to generate two colorless mana—leaving you with a net profit of one mana after paying the helm's activation fee. Thanks to Shield of Kaldra granting indestructible to the artifacts themselves, your legendary pieces remain safely on the field to repeat the cycle indefinitely, fueling infinite sacrifices, creature triggers, and colorless mana.
