How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Sethron, adding CC.
  2. Sethron dies, triggering Nim Deathmantle, causing you to pay 4 to return Sethron from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. Sethron enters the battlefield, creating a 2/3 Minotaur creature token.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Minotaur, adding CC.
  5. Repeat.
