How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Answered Prayers triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. Repeat.

This loop is fueled by Mite Overseer, whose activated ability—subsidized by phyrexian mana—serves as the engine by dropping creature tokens onto the battlefield. Thanks to Chatterfang, Squirrel General's replacement effect, every time those tokens appear, an equal number of Squirrels tag along to double your yield, while Answered Prayers happily triggers off every single arrival to pad your life total. You then feed those freshly minted bodies right into Ashnod's Altar, converting them into a flood of colorless mana that more than pays to keep Mite Overseer spinning the wheel indefinitely.
