How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Angelic Chorus triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. Repeat.

This engine spins into motion when you activate Mite Overseer, whose Phyrexian mana activation fee is heavily offset by the explosive token-doubling presence of Chatterfang, Squirrel General to flood the board with fresh bodies. As those artifacts and rodents enter, Angelic Chorus happily converts their toughness straight into an endless stream of life, while Ashnod's Altar stands ready to harvest those same creatures for a surplus of colorless mana. Because the mana generated by the altar easily outpaces the activation cost of the overseer, you can feed the loop indefinitely to generate boundless tokens, triggers, and life.
