This fascinating loop relies on the curious interaction between Abandoned Sarcophagus, Overwhelming Splendor, and Hollow One to generate an infinite engine. Normally, casting Hollow One from your graveyard via Abandoned Sarcophagus would trigger a replacement effect that exiles it if it isn't cycled, but since Overwhelming Splendor strips away all of the creature's abilities upon entering the battlefield—including its built-in cycling ability—that exile clause is bypassed entirely. This allows you to continually cast Hollow One for cheap, sacrifice it to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana, and loop it right back out of the graveyard to fund the process indefinitely.
